Page Switcher: Script Studio's 4 page views
Last updated June 6, 2026 · 3 min read
Script Studio's left activity bar is a Page Switcher. Same script book, switched between 4 page-level views.

Four page views
The middle of the left activity bar holds four page-view icons:
| View | What it shows | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | Series / Season / Episode structure + 6 sub-tabs (Planning / Characters / Storylines / Locations / Worldview / Notes) | Planning, logline, Character Bible |
| Scenes | Scene Board — Board / List / Timeline modes + Episode / Season toggle | Scene structure, pacing, cross-episode comparison |
| Write | Script editor — Taiwan / Hollywood format toggle (auto-detected on paste/import) | Dialogue, scene description |
| Deliver | Export to Markdown / docx / PDF / Fountain, etc. | Hand-off to editors / production |
The activity bar's other icons
Besides the page views, the left activity bar also has:
- Top: the Slima logo (Studio Switcher) and the Script Studio logo (back to the "My Scripts" shelf)
- Bottom: Upgrade / Help Center / Dark mode
Search is not a separate view
Full-script search is the 🔍 icon in the top toolbar of the Scenes / Write views — not a page on the Page Switcher. See: Full-script search.
Switching
Click an icon → switch to that view. Each view remembers your previous state (e.g. Scenes remembers your last Season / Episode and board mode).
Cross-view jumping
- Click a scene in Scenes → jumps to Write at that scene
- The breadcrumb at the top of Write → switches which Season / Episode you're in
Vs Writing Studio
Writing Studio has no Page Switcher — its left activity bar toggles what a panel shows (File explorer / AI chat …). Script Studio's Page Switcher switches what the whole canvas is doing — a bigger jump.
