Page Switcher: 6 main views (Plan / Scenes / Write / Deliver / Search / More)
Lectura de 4 min
Script Studio's left activity bar is a Page Switcher with 6 page-level views. Same script book, six perspectives.

Six main views (top to bottom)
| Icon label | View | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | Series / Season / Episode structure + 6 sub-tabs (Planning / Characters / Storylines / Locations / Worldview / Notes) | Planning, logline, Character Bible |
| Scenes | Scene Board — Board / List / Timeline modes + Episode / Season toggle | Scene structure, pacing, cross-episode comparison |
| Write | Script editor — auto format detection (TW / Hollywood) | Dialogue, scene description |
| Deliver | Export (Markdown / docx / PDF / Fountain / Final Draft) | Hand-off to editors / production |
| Search | Full-script search + jump-to-result | Find a line / scene |
| More | Other tools (settings / preferences / upgrade / help) | One-off actions |
Switching
Click the icon → switch to that view. Each view remembers your previous state (e.g. Scenes remembers your last Season / Episode + Board mode).
Cross-view jumping
Elements in one view jump to another:
- Scenes click a scene → jumps to Write at that scene
- Plan / Characters click a character → jumps to Scenes highlighting all that character's scenes
- Write breadcrumb click on Season → jumps to Plan for that Season
Vs Writing Studio
Writing Studio has no Page Switcher concept — its left activity bar toggles what the left panel shows (files / search / AI Coach…); the editor stays centred.
Script Studio's Page Switcher switches what the whole canvas is doing — a bigger jump.
