Slima Script Studio Plan view as a visual reference; note operations live in the Notes tab

Creating a note

Note Board → "+ New Note" → dialog / inline expand:

Field Use
Title One-line label of what this note is about (e.g. "E3 climax ideas")
Content (Markdown) Main text
Tags (optional) TODO / Idea / Reference / Question / Resolved, etc.
Level Series / Season / Episode / Scene
Status Open (default) / Resolved

Confirm → note appears in the Note Board list.

Note detail panel

Click any note → right-side detail:

Markdown editor

  • Full Markdown (headings / lists / quotes / code / tables)
  • Inline images
  • [[Character: A. Smith]] / [[Storyline: B-story]] wikilinks to other tabs

Tag chips

Pick from dropdown or custom:

  • TODO
  • Idea
  • Reference
  • Question
  • Resolved
  • Custom...

Level setting

Change which level the note attaches to. E.g. started at Series level, then realised it's only about E3 → move to Episode level.

Status toggle

Resolved / Open with a click. Resolved notes are dimmed and default to collapsed.

Deleting

⋯ menu → Delete. Confirmation appears — for important notes, prefer "mark as Resolved" rather than delete (keeps the record).

Filtering and searching

Note Board top usually has:

  • Tag filter (multi-select): show only TODOs, etc.
  • Status filter: show only open / show all
  • Level filter: only Series / Season / Episode / Scene
  • Full-text search: search note content

Sort

  • Time (new → old default / old → new)
  • Tag
  • Level

Vs Scene-level notes

Note Board is the book-level note repository. Scene-level notes are scene-specific metadata (like setup-payoff) inside Scene Detail Paneldetails.

The two differ: book-level notes cross scenes; scene-level notes bind to a single scene.
