AI Insight not yet in Script Studio: why + alternatives
5 min read
Writing Studio has AI Insight with 4 analyses — but Script Studio doesn't ship the same 4-analysis Insight panel yet. This article explains why and what to use instead.

What Writing Studio AI Insight is
Writing Studio's AI Insight provides 4 chapter-level analyses:
- Pacing: which sections are too slow / fast
- Dialogue: character voice consistency
- Repetition: overused words / phrases
- Consistency: cross-chapter people / place / time / object conflicts
Why Script Studio doesn't have it
Script format differs from prose:
- Script "pacing" is visualised by the Scene Board, not by within-chapter word distribution
- Script "dialogue consistency" is checked against Character Bible rather than NER
- Script "repetition" is less of an issue (characters have catchphrases by design)
- Script "consistency" is solved by Setup-Payoff tracking + Appearance matrix
So Script Studio's AI focus is AI Coach conversational analysis, not a packaged 4-analysis view.
Available AI analysis in Script Studio (alternative)
Although no standalone Insight view, ask AI Coach in Script Studio:
| To analyse | Ask |
|---|---|
| Pacing | "Is E3's scene pacing balanced? Which scenes could be cut?" |
| Dialogue consistency | "Does A. Smith's E5 dialogue match the character setting?" |
| Repetition | "Which lines / descriptions repeat across the script?" |
| Cross-episode continuity | "Lighthouse Cottage had a fireplace in E2; is the setting consistent in E7?" |
Or combine with Search + Stats structural dashboard.
Will Script Studio get its own Insight?
Depends on the product roadmap. No formal announcement yet for a Script Studio Insight view.
If you'd like this feature, voice it via Report an issue / contact support.
