Worldview and market diagnostic
Last updated May 29, 2026 · 2 min read
Two angles usually read together — "can readers get in (worldview)" + "is this distinct in the market."

Worldview
In Reader feedback, the Worldview diagnostic has two sub-scores:
| Sub-score | Examines |
|---|---|
| Clarity | How quickly readers grasp the time / rules / setting |
| Information load | Is the setting overloaded (info-dump) or too thin |
Common issues: an info-dump in Chapter 1, setting that's never used, assuming too much prior knowledge, settings that conflict within the same book.
Market
The Market diagnostic's sub-score is word-of-mouth — a composite of how willing readers are to recommend it. It weighs:
- Category fit — does the genre you wrote read like that genre
- Differentiation — is there a distinctive angle
- The Market simulation beneath Reader feedback also lists comparable works and Kindle expected reviews to help you position
Not a marketing substitute
This diagnostic is AI inferring market fit from your content — final marketing decisions need human judgment.
