Action items: a to-do list + revise in Writing Studio
Last updated June 10, 2026 · 3 min read
Finish the report → a "what to fix next" list → into Writing Studio to actually revise. This is the linchpin of Slima's reading → revising flow.

Action items tab
Consolidates the report's changes into one prioritised list, drawing from:
- The AI Editor's per-dimension suggestions (Editor detail)
- Improvement points across the 5 reader diagnostics
The number beside the tab is the item count (e.g. "Action items 5"); the top shows progress: "X / N handled".
Each action item
- Title — a one-line direction (e.g. "Replace placeholder names with evocative ones")
- Rationale — why, often citing reader data (e.g. "3/3 readers flagged character")
- Cited passage (§1, §2…) — points to the spot in your book
- "Mark as Resolved" — click it once revised; it counts toward the progress at the top
Edit in Writing Studio
The bottom of the report has "Edit in Writing Studio" — Writing Studio has an AI Coach to discuss each item against the report and actually revise. See: AI Coach
Pair with "rerun"
The best workflow: run a reading → handle action items → rerun to see if scores moved → repeat. Each rerun produces a fresh action-item list.
