Public read-only share link

Want to show what you wrote to a friend / editor / agent? Generate a read-only public link — they don't need a Slima account.

How to create

Book card ⋯ menu → "Create share link"

Or inside a book: top-right → "Share" icon

Settings

Modal with 3 options:

1 · Scope

• Whole book — every chapter + notes (per below permissions)
• Specific chapters — only checked ones
• Single file

2 · Permission

• Read-only (default)
• Read + comment (Pro+) — viewer can comment in Reader view
• Edit — Pro+ Team (v1 rolling out)

3 · Expiry

• Never
• 7 days
• 30 days
• 3 months
• Custom date

Set → "Create" → get a URL.

The share URL

Format:

https://slima.ai/share/abc...xyz

Recipient clicks → opens directly in Reader Mode:

Manage existing links

Book ⋯ → "Share links list":

• Per row: created time, expiry, click count
• Actions: revoke / extend / change scope / copy URL

Revoke

Row → "Revoke" → effective immediately, next visit → "This link has been revoked".

Security

• URL has a random token (brute-force impossible)
• No listing — no directory of your share links
• Link = permission — anyone with the URL can view; don't post publicly
