Report a bug or suggest a feature
Last updated May 14, 2026 · 3 min read
Found a bug or want to suggest a feature — email the Slima team directly, or post in the Discord community.
How to report
The most direct way is Email: write to [email protected] — usually a reply within 24 hours. Or post in Discord (discord.gg/vBh9c7ErXv). Both channels are covered in Contact support.
What to include
The clearer the description, the more it helps:
- Title: one line summarizing the point
- Steps: what you did
- Expected result: what you thought would happen
- Actual result: what actually happened
- Environment: your browser and operating system
If it's easy, a screenshot is the fastest way to show the problem.
Whether to attach book content
Reporting a bug doesn't require attaching your book content. If a passage is essential to reproduce the issue, it's your call whether to paste it into the email — entirely voluntary. Your work is not used for AI training and isn't visible to anyone else; see AI training policy.
Finding help inside the app
Click the Help (?) button in the side activity bar to open the help panel — it has a feature guide, an AI-assistant overview, a quick-start, and a keyboard-shortcuts list. Check here first; common questions often already have an answer.
After you report
- Your report goes into the Slima team's internal tracking
- Notable fixes are mentioned in the Changelog
Urgent bugs
For urgent situations (e.g. data loss, can't sign in):
Use Contact support to email directly — usually a response within 24 hours.
Suggesting features
Same channels as reporting a bug — Email or Discord. Describe the feature you want and the problem it would solve.
Slima collects many suggestions and prioritizes them (considering: how many users want it, implementation cost, fit with the product direction). Not every one ships, but all are read.
