Preferences: font size, and where other settings live
Last updated June 2, 2026 · 3 min read
The Account → Preferences page has two parts — a font-size slider and a Tutorial Center for replaying guided tours. Other settings you might expect here (language, dark mode, editor layout) actually live elsewhere — this article maps them all.

What the Preferences page has
Account → Preferences has two sections:
Display → Font size
A slider from "small" to "large". It adjusts text size site-wide — including panels and AI-generated content. A "preview text size" box below shows the effect live.
For long-form writing, a slightly larger size is easier on the eyes.
Tutorial Center
Replay any guided tour, or reset everything to start fresh. Tours are grouped by Studio (Writing Studio, …); each is marked Done / Unseen / Closed, with an arrow to replay it. "Reset all" clears every tour's state so they play from scratch again.
Where the other settings live
Many people expect language and theme to be on the Preferences page too — they're not. Here's where each one is:
| What you want to change | Where it is |
|---|---|
| UI language | The "繁 / EN" button at the bottom of the bookshelf (My Works) activity bar → pick English / 繁體中文 / العربية / Español / Korean |
| Dark / light theme | The 🌙 at the bottom of the bookshelf activity bar; the "Dark mode" icon at the bottom of the editor activity bar (see Activity Bar) |
| Editor layout (line width, font, etc.) | Adjusted inside the editor, not in Account |
| Notifications | Account → "Notifications" (see Notifications) |
| AI Memory | Account → "AI Memory" (see AI Memory) |
This article describes only the settings actually present today. Slima is still under active development, and the Preferences page may gain more options later.
