Schedule account deletion

Last updated June 10, 2026 · 3 min read

Leaving Slima? The deletion flow is deliberately reversible — a 30-day grace period before anything is actually erased, and you can cancel any time in between.

Account → bottom of Overview (English): the red "Delete account" block explains the 30-day reversible window, with a "Request account deletion" button

How to delete

Account → Overview, scroll to the bottom "Delete account" block (in red) → "Request account deletion".

A confirmation dialog appears listing the consequences (account deleted after 30 days, all personal works and conversations deleted, team works are not affected) and asks you to tick "I understand this is irreversible after 30 days". Once confirmed, the account enters a scheduled-deletion state and a 30-day countdown begins.

Reversible within 30 days

For the 30 days after you request deletion, you can sign back in to cancel it — cancel, and everything is restored, all data intact, as if you never clicked it.

After 30 days

When the countdown ends, the account and all its personal data are permanently erased and not recoverable. (For legal compliance, some billing records may be retained separately, but unlinked from the account.)

Different from "cancel subscription"

Action Account state Data
Cancel subscription Stays, drops to Free All preserved
Delete account Gone after 30 days Erased after 30 days

If you just want to stop paying: Cancel subscription is enough — account and data both stay.

Export first — strongly recommended

Before deleting, export your data to keep a backup.
