Overall prediction
Three charts:
1 · Completion rate
"M of N personas finished the book"
- Pie: finished / dropped midway / barely started
- 80%+ is high
2 · Drop distribution
Which chapter / passage is the spike for drops:
- Bar chart of per-chapter drop rates
- Peaks are usually "weak opening setup / middle loses momentum / abrupt turn"
3 · Emotion distribution
For readers who finished:
- Liked ▓▓▓▓▓ 60%
- Confused ▓▓▓ 25%
- Bored ▓ 10%
- Surprised / impressed ▓ 5%
Kindle viability prediction
Three levels:
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| High | High chance of top 100 in category, week one |
| Medium | Depends on marketing, cover, title |
| Low | Content has retention issues |
Considers:
- Opening hook
- Category fit (differentiation vs peers)
- Overall completion
- Title / cover (if provided)
Not absolute
This is directional, not certainty — AI can't fully simulate market behaviour. The most useful signal is delta: revise, rerun, see if the prediction moves up.
